We did not know any remodeling company so we looked in Angie's list and the first person to contact us was Tyler, the owner of the company. This young man appeared to be experienced and was willing to work within our budget. He gave us ideas about what to do and what materials to use. He inspired so much confidence on us that we decided to take a chance with him. I am happy we did because him and his crew did a great job. We had both bathrooms and both kitchens remodeled, we had our dining and living room painted and our carpet replaced with a nice floor on both floors and most interior doors replaced. This company is very reliable and they showed up every day for work including Saturdays. In four weeks our home turned into a dream home and we are very happy with the results. We had to call Tyler back to take care of a couple details and he sent people the next day and took care of the problems without any hassles. We would recommend this company to friends and family without hesitation. Thank you guys.read less

The roof had been leaking for a YEAR. Other contractors kept ensuring it was fixed and without fail it would leak again. Tylers group came in and fixed it and it has not leaked since. Its very reassuring going into the winter season knowing the roof is sound. His team also redid our very outdated bathroom. They fixed bad plumbing, moved closet doors and added a new ventilation system. Everything they did was done with attention to detail and the utmost care. Everyone who sees our bathroom comments on the fine workmanship and fair prices. I have recommended them to friends already and will continue to do so in the future. We look forward to working with Tyler and his team on our next project.read less

He can do anything you ask of him and loves the challenge of creating something from scratch. Case in point - we wanted a deck and pergola built in our backyard. Tyler came over and looked at the spot - visualized what it would look like, said, "OK, got it." He gave us a VERY reasonable estimate and built everything beautifully - with no waste of materials. He is amazing to watch when he sizes up an estimate.
As others have said, he is very personable and easy to work with - as is his crew. They are all respectful, polite and great young people who are not afraid to do a good day's work.
But, the best thing that can be said for Reliable Home Remodeling is that they return phone calls (or texts) promptly, and they show up for estimates and jobs when they say they will. That scores very high marks as these days, that kind of work ethic is sorely missing.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Reliable Home Remodeling to anyone - and we have! Keep up the great work, guys!read less

They did an absolutely beautiful job with my bathroom this summer and I was so pleased by the craftsmanship and service that I had my living room painted, new lighting, woodwork, and resurfacing of my fireplace. Beautiful!! Currently, I am in the throws of a complete kitchen renovation and I will check back in with the final review once complete !
I wholeheartedly agree with the first review. Tyler has talent and maturity beyond his years and an equally talented crew, each bring their speciality and “personality” to the job . They are respectful, incredibly reliable and punctual, hardworking and professional . This crew has become like family for sure and I will definitely use them for additional work down the road.
Tyler Baron and the Reliable Home Renovation Crew have my highest recommendation!read less

Tips to Ensure Your Bathroom Remodel is a Success from Suffolk County’s Leading Remodeling Company: Reliable Home Remodeler
Bathroom renovations are one of the most popular home improvement projects in Peconic, NY, and it’s easy to see why: There’s nothing more soothing than a well-appointed, properly functioning, and fresh new bathroom.
The bathroom is such an important room in your home. It’s where you start and end each day and space you frequent on a regular basis. Since it’s such an integral room in your home, if you’re considering a remodel, it stands to reason that you’ll want to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible and that you’ll get the results you’re looking for. Plus, a bathroom makeover is an investment that can cost upwards of a few thousand dollars – if not more – so you want to be sure that you’re spending your money wisely.
So what’s the secret to a successful bathroom remodel? The truth is, there is no secret, but with the following tips, you can significantly increase the chances that the end result will be well worth your while.
Set a Budget
Before you do anything else, you’re going to want to establish a budget. If you don’t plan ahead, you could end up spending far more than you can comfortably afford. When creating a budget, make sure it’s within your means and that it includes all of the necessary expenditures, including labor and materials, such as new fixtures, flooring, fittings, and any other elements that you want to upgrade. You should also leave some wiggle room for unexpected expenses. You never know what’s lurking behind your walls, floors, or ceiling; if there’s a surprise waiting, you’ll want to make sure you have the funds available to cover the cost.
Hire a Contractor
Conceivably, a bathroom remodel could be a DIY project, but there are a lot of elements that you may not be able to successfully handle on your own. For example, you’ll likely need electrical, plumbing, tile laying, drywall installation, and even carpentry work. Unless you’ve been properly trained in the elements that you’re planning on remodeling, hiring a professional Suffolk County bathroom remodeler is highly recommended.
A remodeling company will have the necessary knowledge and experience and will work with licensed and certified tradesmen, including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, tile setters, and drywall installers. In other words, hiring a bathroom contractor will ensure the job is done the right way and that you’ll get the results you desire.
How can you find a reputable remodeler in Suffolk County? Ask for recommendations, do some research, check into credentials, and set up consultations. Things to consider when looking for a contractor include:
License and insurance
Years of experience (the more established the company, the more likely it is that they’ll have the experience your project requires and a reputation of success)
References (don’t be afraid to contact prospective contractors references and ask questions)
Fair pricing and a common-sense payment plan
Make a Plan
Depending on your situation, a bathroom remodel could cause a bit of an upheaval, to say the least. The space will be out of commission until the project is complete, so you’ll want to make plans accordingly. If you have another full bathroom, it shouldn’t be a major concern; however, if your secondary bathroom is only a two-piece or your Peconic house has just one bathroom, you’ll definitely need to figure out how you’ll manage until the remodel is done. Consider staying with family or friends or at a hotel. If those aren’t options, speak with your contractor to see what they recommend.
There’s also demolition to content with. While a reputable remodeling company will do their best to keep the mess contained, dust and dirt are bound to escape. Plus, with all the hammering and sawing, things can get pretty noisy, which could prove to be problematic if you have small children or you work from home. While we’re on the topic of children, make sure that you explain the importance of staying away from the worksite. If you have pets, you’ll want to keep them at bay, too.
Create a Design
Work with your contractor to create a design for your ideal bathroom. Make a list of your wants and needs, but make sure you focus on your needs before your wants. For example, while a jetted tub might be nice, if you have to give up other necessities to get it or if it’s going to break your budget, you might have to pass it up; having luxurious fixtures and accessories is certainly nice, but if your bathroom doesn’t have the elements that you truly need, then the renovation isn’t going to be a success. After all, what good is a bathroom remodel if the end result doesn’t accommodate your needs and you’re still frustrated when all is said and done?
Select Finishes and Fixtures
Browse through catalogs or visit your local home improvement store with your remodeler to view samples of finishes and fixtures; showerheads, cabinetry, tile, toilets, tubs, showers, lighting elements, and whatever else you might be installing in your new bathroom. Choose elements that speak to your unique style and will allow you to create the look you desire. Durability is important, too; fixtures and finishes should be able to stand up to everyday use and regular wear and tear. Of course, you should also consider your budget when you’re picking out the fixtures and finishes; if you don’t shop carefully, you could easily end up breaking the bank.
Your contractor or the designer that your contractor works with will be able to guide you in the right direction. These professionals can make recommendations based on your project and your intended goals.
